Early signs of autism can be an indicator of unusual play with toys?

What are unusual toys? I believe unusual toys are toys that are abnormal, non-conventional or anything out of the ordinary. These are toys that your child is willing to use and play with him or her choice, because I think it's a toy. But it's a toy? It is an indicator of signs of autism?

I remember when my brother was an infant, preschool, he was interested in playing and exploring with unusual toys and objects. Some of them were considered dangerous and not wise for your use.

My parents and our neighbors thought this was out-of-the-ordinary, compared with other children their age.

As my brother developed, probably around their first birthday, or later, our family noted he would rock back and forth, stare into space, making repetitive rounds, pace back and forth. He would look out the corner of their eyes and do not have direct eye contact with people. Interaction with baby rattles or toys.

Now I'm older, I look back on the history of my brother, who was not interested in playing with objects or toys in comparison to what other kids felt they were comfortable with. Furthermore, playing with toys in accordance with their personalities and their genres. My brother was gravitate to unusual objects and toys for your gaming time.

I often thought, this could be an indicator of a child with autism, associating-if not with toys or objects which are considered as the highlight of other children who do not have autism?

I felt I had to know more about this confusing situation, my brother playing with toys unusual. This could be an indicator for early signs of autism?

The number of children currently being diagnosed with autism has increased tremendously. I feel that it is crucial to find out what the indicators of autism can be and what can be done to help with semaphores.

I've learned, you can identify autism behaviors through the use of his unusual children playing with toys.

This does not necessarily mean that your child has autism because of the use of unusual play with toys, but can be an indicator to you take into consideration.

Remember, researchers are constantly doing more studies into the possibilities there are indicators pointing to unusual children with toys. These children might be candidates have the early stages of autism.

You, as a parent, caregiver (s), wants to be on the alert for any suspicious, out-of-the-ordinary, unusual play with toys or objects. This could be early signs of autism and may be an indicator or clue to his son tested by a professional who is knowledgeable about autism.

Autism care for Toddlers

Many parents are alarmed to discover that your child is autistic. The prospect of raising a child who has autism is intimidating, and having an autistic child is an exercise in patience, certainly. However, it can also be as rewarding an experience for the parents how to create a normal child. Children at any age and any skills can be a challenge, but there are some great ways to make it easier on your child, as well as yourself.

Do some research-with the internet, this is easier than ever. Don't let the internet will be the end of his resources, though. While there are many websites and online forums for parents of autistic children-and is useful to join some networking with other parents-it is also important to pick up some books. Remember that all children are different and each method suggested doesn't work for every child.

Get to Know Your Toddler-autism is not a disease that is the same from person to person. It is called the autism spectrum because severity and forms vary from minor symptoms to very significant problems. A professional can give you an exact idea of the position of his son on the spectrum, but it is up to you to know that your child is as a person. Keep a journal that this is more for registration than for a resonance box. Write down everything from food to reactions to certain colors, textures and environments. You can learn a lot about that things shake or disturb his son this way. Also note any symptoms that you notice. Have a record of symptoms and reactions to environmental factors can help when contacting your child's doctor, too.

Stay tuned – it is important to pay attention. Every parent knows this, but it is even more important when caring for a child with autism because many do not understand or have the ability to express your feelings and emotions. Children who have autism might seem cold, standoffish style and indifferent even to their parents. Don't make the mistake of assuming that they do not have these feelings, though. Many children with autism deep not unable to embrace and kiss his parents and find it distressing when forced to do so. Have your child's feelings into account when considering all activities.

Create a routine-routine is everything for an autistic child, because it gives them feelings of security and tranquility. Most are very easily frustrated by a small change in routine that seems to be nothing at all for you. Try to arrange for naps, meals, playtime and tours occur at the same time every day. Can also be useful to create routines for certain times of the day, such as bedtime. Many children with autism are very tense. Through the removal of stimulation, such as food and television, a couple of hours before bed and performing activities more tranquilizers can help an autistic child falling asleep.

Recovery of autism in a nutshell

Autism "Epidemic" growing worldwide

We are in the midst of a severe epidemic of autism. Twenty-five years ago, the frequency of autism was affecting only one in each 100000. Now it has increased to 1 in 150, though some sources claim that he may be even greater than that.

The way that clinical medical science is targeted is the clinical history. You start with the history of the patient or parent's story of what happened to the child. What was heard is normal development followed by exposure of vaccine followed by regression to autism and gastrointestinal problems at the same time. Regression means lost skills acquired, i.e. a child could talk then lost the ability to speak.

Questions about autism & vaccine ingredients

Many of us have heard much about thimerosal, mercury components, preservatives in vaccines and viral live vaccines as a possible culprit. Today, many groups accuse thimerosal, a preservative for vaccines is a factor that contributes to autism. But it is also the dozens of other heavy metals, minerals Chelate that cause inflammation and damage the brain synapses communicate. Basic chemistry is all. So if your brain chemistry is incorrect or unbalanced due to massive metal exposure, then the person or the child will not have the same cognitive functions like a normal healthy person. Others can develop schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, depression, insomnia or other problems.

In addition, mercury since the first day of life can poison the developing immune system leading to immune, neurological dysfunction, sensory, motor and behavioral. Another potential source of toxin is heavy metals such as aluminum in vaccines. Aluminium compounds containing accumulate not only injection, but goes to the child's brain and accumulate there. In the brain of the child, the aluminum enters neurons and glial cells (astrocytes and Microglia). Aluminium levels are being blamed for Alzheimer's disease as well.

More alarming numbers

A child in the United States Gets 36 vaccines before 10 to 12 years of age. This is to define the scenario in which you give your child a live virus vaccine in 15 months of age, then they cannot handle it correctly.

Somalia in East Africa, there is a word for autism. Autism appears to be a disorder of the developed world. When these side came to live in the developed world, for example, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States, the rate of autism in their children is 1 in 28. However when they are loaded in its own country and don't get vaccinations, they don't have any autism.

The impact of autism in families

Families with autistic children are not only financially burdened with medical expenses. They are also emotionally and spiritually drained to care for their autistic son. The stress of financial stress and time can lead to more health problems for the members of the family as well.

Recovery from autism-what really works proponents say:

Contrary to what the establishment and the vaccine-pushers are saying, alternative healers and doctors are showing evidence that autistic children is recovering. Jerry Kartinel, M.D., who co-authored a book with autism-recovery advocate and spokesperson for talk about Curing Autism (TACA), Jenny McCarthy says that 75% of autism can be reversed with intervention therapies or bionutritional supplementation that includes correct mineral deficiencies, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Candida & heavy metal cleanses, and a wheat and dairy free diet.

All these methods combined can be very expensive and overwhelming to begin with. Fortunately for many families that choose these natural recovery methods, there are a number of supplements recommended that were used with positive results and promising improvements to those affected with autism not only, but also of down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or other problems related to the brain.

I am a member of the Kevin Trudeau's NaturalCures.com, as well as the Global network of information and I have researched alternative cure for 8 years. Although I have no medical degree, I network around the world with natural healers, always on a journey to find the truth.

I think my independent study is what allows me to be detached for any single idea and have opening to think outside the box with flexibility.

Throughout my life, I have abandoned many ideas and paradigms to discover new shifts of consciousness within my own thought process to come to my new understandings.

When someone says "I know the answer!" I suggest looking at the other with skepticism. One should always remain open to new information or they are trapped by their own beliefs.

According to my research, the main methods of fixing any imbalance or severe damage that has been done to the body must include addressing the major underlying factors that can bring the body back to normal health again.

The first approach is to nourish the autonomic nervous system, increasing the voltage inside the body. Also one should focus on providing the right mineral balance and form found in nature, to correct the biochemical environment (alkaline and PH). Care should be given to high-priced water machines ionizing strangely put garbage minerals into the water that claim to make water healthy (many people who use these machines for more than a year report that they develop digestive problems).

Instead, of primary importance must be correct DNA instructions to create a domino-effect reactions that usually creates healthy cells, hormones and amino acids. Finally, a campaign to neutralize the free radicals and inflammation within the brain or elsewhere in the body can be employed using natural antioxidants.

For maximum impact, these approaches and supplements must all be combined with using a soft diet that focuses on eating organic foods and avoiding stressful food allergens that cause the immune system to attack the foreign proteins feed up to the moment when the GI tract is cured and the body can tolerate foods again.

Combine all these approaches is required to have at least moderate to large improvements in all health in general-no matter the imbalance or symptom. Especially for autism, has shown to be very beneficial in the progression towards helping families recover their children and putting a lot of emotional and financial stress behind them.

I welcome questions to review the information that I have accumulated and connect with and hear stories of other people who have had success with the program I teach.

There is never a cost involved and I am grateful to be of help to anyone who can.

Brain Training for functional disconnect syndrome and other disabilities on the autism spectrum

We discussed how nerves communicate and how they decide when they are going to send impulses to other nerve cells. We know that groups of nerves collect information and fire together in pathways that stimulate distant parts of the brain. We also know that it is essential for different areas of the brain to communicate well with others so that we can make things complicated amazing what we do with our brains.

The brain is divided into left and right hemispheres. These hemispheres the wide range of jobs that must be done are divided and organized. Each hemisphere is also divided into special sections or lobes. These are the frontal lobes, parietal, temporal and occipital. The parietal lobe is concerned mainly with feeling of body and finding where things happen. There is a map of the opposite side of the body within each parietal lobe. So the left parietal lobe of the brain feels everything on the right side of the body and vice versa. The same kind of thing happens to the occipital lobes, the lobes vision sensing temporal and frontal lobes hearing sensing control muscle movements of the opposite side of the body. The frontal lobe is also what we call center Executive why is responsible for making decisions and actions.

Now, imagine that you're in a toy store. A train on its track is making its way around the shop chugging and whistles. You turn your head to see where he is. As he comes into view, you see an egg in one of the cars and want to pick it up. Sounds like a simple thing, but when you really think about it, it involves the entire brain and is quite complex. Firstly, the ears are stimulated, changing the sound vibrations in the air the electrical impulses traveling along nerves. The impulses are sent to the temporal lobe, so we know what we are hearing and the parietal lobe so we know where we're listening to it. The temporal lobes compare all frequencies of different sounds and their relative volumes and discover what that whistling sound is while two parietal lobes of the ears take information and compare between the two sides that you hear sound louder and if the volumes are changing to discover where the sound is coming from.

The temporal and parietal lobes then send their perceptions forward to the frontal lobe to he can decide what they are, what they are doing, if sounds are dangerous or not and what to do about it. The frontal lobe, then activates the muscles of the neck and moves the muscles in the eye in perfect sequence to identify the position of toy train and then trace its path. To do this, he needs the occipital lobe is that now receive visual stimulation of eyes and forwarding it to the frontal lobe. The sound of each ear, the sight of both eyes and the sense of position in all muscles involved must be synchronized by an internal timer so that the differences in lengths of nerves and processing times do not confuse the frontal lobe as watching a movie where the sound is delayed so that you see his lips movingbut the words don't make sense. I haven't even started talking about what he'll have to judge the speed of this train, while the movement arm, sequence firing of muscles in the arm and hand and judge and judge the pressure on the egg so we don't break it.

Without communication, timing and sequencing within the brain that we simply cannot operate without problems in the world. How do we know that many of our children are experiencing functional disconnection of these different parts of their brains that we may have previously described as "sensory integration problems, clumsiness, poor eye contact, abnormally high threshold of pain, difficulty following directions or many other things. The program of listening, the metronome, the other Integrative therapies that we do in our Office and the exercises that we have patients do at home to connect or reconnect the different areas of the brain in the proper sequence so that our children can perform complex majestic we all take for granted.

How to create a day of autism in your hairdressers

If you have a hairdressers, repeated clients are ideal. But, the chairs are not always occupied, then a steady stream of new customers can reduce downtime. In a day of autism in your lounge, people on the autism spectrum may get a more pleasurable experience of haircut. You can gain some new customers for the future, and you can enjoy the feeling of doing something good for others.

More often, people with autism have sensory processing Disorder (SPD), which is the difficulty when entering into a sensory stimulus. Sensory processing disorder affects how the brain processes sensory information, perfume, visual and sensory input audio.

People with SPD are capable of processing sensory information because the brain decides what sensory information to ignore and which to focus. For example, when you cut your hair, talking with customers and hear them easily not really realize the background noise.

To understand what a person with SPD experiences, imagine you're in a coffee shop, chatting with a friend and all senses is ablaze with the bombing of stimuli. The stimuli do not get filtered, so they increase your stress level that builds almost a fight-or-flight response.

You would notice things like this and they disrupt around in your brain at the same time:

What you would smell:
CoffeeThe aroma scent of coffee flavorsThe fresh air coming inThe scent of perfume or Cologne as a client spends his perfume tableThe hair products his friend

What you hear:
The door opening and closingCustomers of orderingClattering of dishesYour's grindingTraffic noise talkingOther talkingMusicBeans friend of people of outsideCustomers shoes at the door of bathroom floorThe, opening and closing

What would you feel:
The handshake or hug your friendWhat the Chair feels likeHow your slide shoes in the temperature of the tiled texture cupThe floorThe your coffee table

What you see:
Personal moving rapidly to serve customersCustomers move aroundThe colorsEvery sign up to read many times in the movement of feeling outsideThe chalkThe colorful people and cars of durum or calm friend lightingYour move your hands as she is talking

The sensory input up into a coffee shop presents the same problem in a hairdressers. For people on the autism spectrum, it can be very stressful to go for a haircut.

A salon usually have a large amount of stimuli happening constantly with lighting, multiple conversations, phone ringing, blow dryers whining and much more. This environment can make a person with autism to flee. Often, they will avoid getting a hair cut for as long as possible.

For customers who have autism here is what you do:

Reduce the noise level, turn off the radio, avoiding hair dryers, not wearing loud jewelry and banning high heels or other noisy shoes off that day. remove a buzzer or Bell.
Keep the odorous stimuli to a minimum. Use hair products without smell or lightly scented, including shampoo. Do not use perfume or scented products that day.Reduce Visual stimuli by turning some lights or dimming them. If possible, hang solid tissue between stations to reduce Visual stimuli.Encourage people to bring their blankets weighted or fidget toy to make the experience more calm feeling.Since some people may not want to touch a hair wash. Ask the customer if they would like their hair shampooed. Otherwise, use a spray bottle.

How to promote your day of autism

You will have a month to get the word out about your next day contact purposes for-and non-profit-organizations without Autism in your city or metro.
Offers to send handouts.Send emails.Make calls.Send faxes with your permission.Contact your community newspaper and follow up with them.Put a sign in its window.Inform all customers and give a leaflet or visit card of the day of autism.Contact autism local bloggers.

The first day of autism in your salon will work, but there are so many reasons both personally and professionally that will make it a rewarding day for everyone.

Rethink Autism: Understanding Autism potential causes and therapies

The medical community of establishment & citizen need rethink Autism-what is causing it and how to help the child recover naturally this life-changing condition. Let's start right from the outset understanding Autism: during vaccination programs, manufacturers add a mercury preservative called Thimerosal or Thimersal in vaccinations. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of family medicine never warn parents or professionals that mercury was toxic until they were forced to ... He is known for more than sixty years that mercury is poisonous to the cells.

Let's rethink Autism as American current immunization schedule requires 48 doses of 14 vaccines before children are 6 years of age. Now consider a vaccine dose for an adult 120 pounds and this same dose for a child of 12 pounds in 2 months, that body weight is equivalent to 10 doses. Where is the sense in rule?

Moreover, nobody can explain the explosion of autism Severus in conjunction with the growing number of vaccinations. Are our current Autism understanding when even doctors?

Give many vaccines ever put too much load on the less-developed immune system of the child. Once again, Let's rethink Autism otherwise. In addition to the vaccine, aluminum composite individual travels to the brain and enters the neurons and cells causes an inflammatory reaction.

Let's rethink autism that actually most autistic people are burdened by microbial toxins and artificial. List of toxins are as below:-

heavy metals such as mercury and aluminum
Viruses and microbes caused by poisonous microbes in an oppressed immune system
Electromagnetic field (EMF) phones, Wi-Fi and electrical wiring

Fortunately for many families that choose these natural recovery methods, there are a number of supplements recommended that were used with positive results and promising improvements to those affected with autism not only, but also of down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or other problems related to the brain. Understanding Autism and natural therapies available today or protocols can be irresistible to some parents.

There are many minerals and diet supplement approaches that are currently showing to help families reclaim their children with autism, to reduce the symptoms of autism, therapies for autism and understanding autism.

A family reported:

"At the end of three days, the mother can not stop crying by the result of the changes that we are watching. For the first time the child goes to her mother and gives her a hug.

These results are happening around the world. Recovery from autism is possible and the diagnosis need not be the end of a normal life for ever.

Our motto is to rethink autism in the 21st century and let us educate to help families recover their children with mild autism or severe ADD, ADHD!

Autism Treatment-exposure to chemicals, treatments and Autism part 2 of 2

We started our 2-part series on chemical risks and treatments, talking about some of the ways that children are exposed to chemicals and how to use Epsom salts can be a good way to help detoxification. My recommendation for acute exposure to chemicals is an Epsom Salt bath daily for between 7 and 10 days. Acute exposure is as if someone is to spray your yard or your neighborhood with some type of chemical as weed killers, etc. And usually my maintenance suggested for most children is an Epsom Salt bath 3 to 4 times per week.

I suggest that if your child has never taken an Epsom Salt bath before you get really slow and only add a little more in first place since some children have sensitive skin and water will be a little salty. I suggest you start off with a half a cup of salts, especially if your child has sensitive skin or you just are not sure how they will react in the first place. And then you can try increasing the amount you add, working for what I usually recommend is 2 to 3 cups in the bath and make them about 3 to 4 times per week. And surely you can do it more often than recommended 3 to 4 times per week, it won't hurt them at all.

Summer is almost here and we will be moving to the warmer months, depending on where you live, can mean a lot of time to swim in the pool for her son. And while I really encourage swimming activity and any exterior really they have exposure to chlorine. After swimming, if you have access to a bath, you can put them in an Epsom Salt bath to help detoxification of chlorine. Or if you cannot gain access to a bathtub you can use cream of Epsom Salt. New beginnings carries the cream of Epsom Salt and a standard dose depends on the size of your child, but can vary from one to two teaspoons. Rub the cream into your skin on your arms, back, abdomen, etc. after swimming and you can do this a few times every day. So if you want to add more magnesium sulphate on his son to assist in detoxification, can do it with cream of Epsom Salt or by placing them in an Epsom Salt bath.

Autism is treatable! Biomedical treatments and therapies for autism resulted in many, many children, improve, or even losing his diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.

Autism and vaccinations, is there a connection?

Autism, a weakness not well understood, complicated, which afflicts 1 in every 150 children and it is most commonly found in males than in females. Children, who live in a world that is self-absorbed, often are, unfortunately, unable to be part of our world. They are somehow locked within themselves, with no way. Autism is reflected in different ways and in different degrees. Expression and communication are two key areas that are significantly affected in children with autism.

Autism was rare until she began to appear more frequently in the late 1980s and early 1990s. At the time the studies show that approximately 1 in every 2000 affected children. In the middle of the 1990s the statistics showed a sharp increase in children diagnosed with autism. Less than a decade later, the number rose to approximately 1 in every 700 children being diagnosed. Today, in the year 2011 are seeing children with autism at an alarming rate of 1 in every 150 children. Autism is affecting children increasingly, why are the numbers going up? The incidence of autism, is too high, and the statistics are frightening.

In the early 1990s, there was a change in how the immunizations were mixed before being administered to children. Until the 1990s, immunization of measles, mumps and rubella, were administered separately and at different moments in the life of the child. In the early 1990s, however, a change was made, and all three immunizations were combined together and then were mixed with preservatives, which were added to prevent an immunization affects any chemical change to the other. This new combination was not administered to children in one shot instead of three. This could be a factor of the impressive number of children who now are affected by autism? The combination of medicines, along with artificial preservatives could have an effect on the increase in autism?

This information raises many issues such as the effect that makes the mixture three immunizations very powerful together in a single shot, has small children? How this affects your brain, its organs and other parts of their small bodies?

Many cases of autism are diagnosed only after receiving the immunization. Why parents and doctors alike, observed no signs in some autistic children, before they were immunized? Does immunization with preservative causes a serious adverse reaction in some children? These are very important issues that need to be investigated, provide some concrete answers.
There is a link between vaccines and Autism? It seems that there are some implications that there may be a connection. In a logical deduction from facts that we have, there is evidence that there may be a link between autism and vaccinations.

Immediate and profound investigation needs to be done to determine if there is a connection between the two, and if not, something needs to be done quickly to stop the increase in autism on our children, the future generation of this world.

Signs of autism in children

Detect autism spectrum disorder in young age is vital to the care of the disorder. The sooner it is diagnosed, the better chance that the child must make improvements after receiving care from autism. Signs of autism and associated symptoms vary widely and, therefore, this condition is now known as autism spectrum disorder to account for its different manifestations. Doctors and experts continue to differ on what they believe causes autism and how it can be better treated. However, there is no debate about the fact that and receive treatment for autism in its early stages is essential. This is because the younger the child, the more your brain plasticity, thus allowing treatment to rewire the connections.

There are several warning signs for autism in children, but a factor that is considered essential. Generally, all children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder are found to have difficulty in three areas. In the first place is communication. Children who have problems with verbal and nonverbal actions such as babbling or pointing are seen at risk for autism. Another common symptom is if the child has difficulty relating to others in terms of active social game. The third area is the difficulty with reacting to people, events and tones of voice. If a child does not smile when her mother smiled at them, they may be at risk for autism.

Parents of children must also be attentive to the delays in development. If a child does not meet the standard goals at the correct times could be an increased risk for autism. This does not mean that if a child does not speak with the appropriate age they are diagnosed with autism, but they may be at risk because they don't speak is a sign of potential.

A sign warning seriously and must be immediately evaluate is whether your baby regresses into any skill sets or steps which they arrived. This includes regression in speech, where at one point the child was doing words such as "MOM" and "daddy" but now they can't pronounce these words. In addition, if a child was involved in activities involving other people such as peek-a-boo, and now the child not to participate in these activities, this could be an important signal of alert and the child should be evaluated by a healthcare professional immediately.

Additional early symptoms to watch out for include the absence of typical behavior. These are babies who don't smile or respond to a familiar voice. Babies that do not follow objects in front of them or those who don't get to be picked up. For nine months, infants should be able to react to sounds and facial expressions and if they are missing in this capacity may be a sign of autism. For twelve months, babies should respond to its name and participate actively in your environment while communicating verbally and pointing and gestures.

Autism spectrum disorder is a condition only where the signs and symptoms may mean several things. A child not talking can only mean that they have not reached this goal and is not a determination that they are autistic. It is important that all concerns are discussed with the medical professional who can diagnose and recommend the best autism care.

Diagnosis and treatment of autism in children

Those concerned with the treatment of autism often want to know how soon you can legitimately diagnosing a child or a child with autism. Now, certainly are split opinions and there is no definitive answer, but some say that there are some signs to watch for in your baby.

Autism is difficult to diagnose before age 2, but babies can begin showing symptoms between 12 and 18 months of age. For the most part, you want to be aware of what are the goals of development for each age and watch to make sure that you achieve them. Marcos missing is a good track for potential problems.

If your baby does not respond to cuddling and seems to harden into his arms and try to stay away from you, which could be a sign of possible (or you could have just one baby pampered). If your baby does not look to you when being fed, or to be performed, these too are signs.

Other possible warning signs of autism in children

Here are some other early signs of autism in babies and children:
If your baby does not smile at you when you smile at himYour child does not respond to cuddling or not arrive and want to be selected upNot staring at you when you're feeding herNot responding to your name or to the sound of a voiceWon 't family follow objects or concentrate on them with your eyes as you move them aroundNot using gestures such as pointing or beckoning goodbyeNot recognize gestures you usenot looking for an object that you point toNot realizing that if he makes noise, he'll have his attentionLack mimicking facial expressions or lack of imitation of your hand or body movementsWhen you get it she doesn't reach you to express the desire to be held

If for one year of age, your baby does not respond to its name, doesn't babble or engage in "baby talk" and that does not point to things to show you, then this also ensures an evaluation by a physician.

Is there such a thing as the treatment of autism for children?

Well, some researchers think so. One of the most important elements of children's experience is the mother-child bond. If a child is not in line with this link or are trying to avoid the connection because of certain sensory issues, so they could miss out on important steps for the social development later.

So what can you do to help social development skills of autistic child gain?

You can change the environment so that it promotes interaction, such as eye contact and babbling. You make the child feel as comfortable as possible. This means that it needs to be as quiet as possible, no bright lights, cell phones and other such things can be visually overwhelming could be overwhelming, fragrances and slow start.

Suppose your baby is being bombarded by sensory information and try to minimize that, so that they can focus on you instead. Touch your baby very smoothly and slowly. If you do this, there is a greater chance that the child will be learning the social information that they must be in line with.

Diagnosing and treating autism in children is difficult to do, but not impossible.

Recovery from autism is not a dirty word

After reading many posts on forums and groups, it seems that there are doctors, individuals and communities that really frown on the word "recovery" in reference to autism spectrum disorders.

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but a little open mindedness and a good look at the world and what others achieve might be in order here, especially for those in the medical profession.

We're resilient physical beings

Is the exact closed minds who inspired people, as the Kaufmans-SON-RISE, many other families and individuals and ourselves to pursue what we know we can achieve recovery from autism!

It is pretty amazing when you think about it, how resilient is the physical human. There are numerous factual stories of survival and recovery in some of the toughest circumstances. A book that inspired us and I believe many others is also a book entitled "The human search for meaning", and Viktor Frankl. If you ever only going to read a book in your life I would recommend this one. It is without doubt one of the best examples of what a human can traverse and survive.

It is a spiritual level and the power of mind which enables us to achieve these amazing feats, the rest is just a biological fact that occupy and control in this physical world. Unfortunately the medical world by great Western has forgotten that the most powerful source of healing – or have they?

Unfortunately our society rely heavily on our medical "experts" to our health and well-being, and it is unfortunate that doctors in the Western world today practise what I refer to how to make "band-aid" medicine where drugs are prescribed only to cover up the symptoms, but they don't really address the root of the problem. However, unbeknownst to the doctors, they can be actually practicing spiritual healing or holistic, just that they don't know it!

Mind over matter about autism

The placebo effect! Proving that the mind plays a larger role in our health than we give him credit for science. I'm sure that most times when a GP prescribes medication for a condition is largely the mind that is doing the repairs, with the drugs helping a cellular level and possibly without them noticing, a spiritual level, causing the patient to believe that this drug will fix them.

Granted that this is my opinion only and there will be many who disagree with me, but that is ok, there must be a contrast to ideas to progress and learn! However the point I'm trying to make here is that our mind and our spiritual energy are what really controls all aspects of our physical being, and recovery from autism is definitely viable.

There is no doubt that a cellular level for natural and man made elements that improve and/or destroy our physical structure. Many of these elements found in nature and there are many old "medical" practices that used these to health and wellness. I always thought that the Chinese had virtually assured, with the combination of mental and physical balance, natural herbs and acupuncture

Unfortunately in our life "Westernized" fast lane we have left all these remedies "old" and largely chose to go to the fast approach of "band-aid" to make mega rich pharmaceutical companies.

Don't be fooled, however, that Western techniques and surgical practices certainly have come a long way to increase our life expectancy and quality of life for many diseases and disabilities. But wouldn't it be a better idea to look at the root cause and stop diseases and deficiencies of manifesting itself in the first place!

How can a person recover from autism?

Back to the subject-a person can recover from an autistic spectrum disorder. And certainly there is evidence out there to back this statement up! The body is being a surprising but our spiritual body is a force even more amazing. Together, they are what makes us who we are, and together they give the ability to "recover".
The brain can heal even by remapping certain functions to other parts of the brain.BIO-Medical supplements may help repair and rebalance our physical structure on a cellular level.Specific education, targeted as ABA and TDT can overcome learning impaired. And most importantly a happy loving environment where the child feels that the pure energy of unconditional love. This will be the main factor in the recovery process with the rest being merely an aide!

My definition of autism recovery would be: that our daughter will be able to be independent and that she will be able to work and be happy and loved in our society. That is my objective, and that is the mental image that I imagine every day and I KNOW we will!

"Thought and imagination are without doubt our most powerful tools we have mere mortals!"

Treatment of autism-Spring allergies, regression and autism, part 1 of 2

Spring is here again and often this means yeast for many children on the autism spectrum. And it really is interesting, this pattern I've seen with many children over the years who suffer from problems with the yeast overgrowth, even if it has been well controlled through medications or supplements. When spring comes, and we see an increase in the levels of pollen and flowers begin to bloom, we also see kids begin to recede due to overgrowth of yeast. These old yeast behaviors even rise again and see the goofiness, idiocy, Vertigo, stimulatory behavior and inappropriate laughter self, many of these odd behaviors that are so often associated with yeast overgrowth in children with autism.

So we try to understand just why this might be happening. And is a challenge to know with certainty what is going on in the body, but when they are exposed to allergens body naturally will increase their immunological activity as a result. This response is to grass or pollen or allergen are exposed to and if your child has a problem with the overgrowth of yeast, which also causes a change in immune reaction and which can be systematically or be locally focused as in the intestinal tract or mucosal lining of the nose or sinusesregardless it still creates a systemically change. Yeast is opportunistic way and it can take the opportunity of a shift immune due to allergens as a way to grow and grow. This increase in metabolic activity of the yeast produce biotoxins that then interfere with the functioning of the brain of the child and see the regressive behaviors that we associate with the yeast and the cycle starts all over again.

So you really want to be aware of this situation and be attentive to it. Where you live is a part of the country that goes from cold right in warmer weather, then you may want to anticipate the behaviour of yeast and pay attention to them. And how we can begin to enjoy the warmer weather and spend more time with friends, enjoying picnics outside, etc. that we can limit the amount of sodas, juice and sweetened foods that our children are allowed to have once they certainly can increase levels of yeast as well. And the next article will discuss more ways to combat yeast, as well as controlling allergies to help control of yeast.

Does MMR causes autism?

MMR vaccine cause autism?

The response based on current research notis. The association between MMR vaccine and Autism can be traced to the late 1980s, when it was noticed that there was an increase in the number of autism being diagnosed. Rates from that season were nearly double the previous years and individuals began to look at the possible causes of autism. Among the first link between MMR vaccinations and autism is the result of an article made in the United Kingdom in 1998. In it he suggested that the vaccine has introduced a series of events that lead to changes in the brain causing autism (inflammation of the colon, release of proteins). In February 2010, that study was cancelled after research showed that medical research was paid for lawyers planning to sue vaccine makers, and that he was applying for a vaccine alternative. The doctor was found to be falsified results with intentions to take advantage of it. In 2010, the doctor was stripped of his right to practice medicine.

So where does that leave us today? At the moment there is a study done in 2002 suggesting vaccines MMR may contribute to autism. However, it is incorrect, methodology and numerous follow-up studies in contradiction with the results. Since the initial research of 1998, there have been several studies (12) with a couple done by the CDC that show no link between vaccines and autism. It is likely that the increase in the diagnosis of autism since the 1990s was caused by the change in criteria necessary for diagnosis of autism and a greater awareness of the disease.

Explore the possible link between autism and MMR vaccine research is ongoing. To date, no scientific link has been established. Numerous studies of large and well designed not to support an association between MMR and autism.

With clear evidence of an association between MMR and autism and numerous studies supporting the lack of association between the vaccine and autism, it is still recommended for children get their MMR vaccine. The use of vaccines against childhood led to a significant reduction of childhood diseases that had serious consequences. Vaccines in decline because of a theoretical risk, places the child at risk of actual infection with actual consequences. Note, as a result of the 1998 study, MMR vaccination decreased from 90% to 80%. In the past five years, the rate of measles in the United Kingdom rose to endemic levels. Fortunately, vaccination rates in the United States have not been significantly changed, although there have been local outbreaks.

Secrets of the autistic brain-brain scans Reveal there is more to Autism Than Meets The Eye

It is evident that the autistic population is increasing exponentially in various forms ranging from Asperger syndrome through the profound classical Autism. What isn't clear is why. Recent studies on the function of the brain of autistic people have new clues and insight this diagnostic notable and people who endure.

RESEARCH ABOUT THE AUTISTIC BRAIN:

Science is beginning to find variations of specific genes, which seem to be related to--if not responsible for the incidence of autism, or risk of manifest in anyone (this is not new and there is much research on this topic)

Brain scans reveal that children with the variant "gene" seem to have more connections of nerve cells in frontal lobe, but less in this area and the rest of the brain, according to science translational medicine

Likewise, studies at the University of California LA used functional magnetic resonance imaging to establish that children carrying the variant "gene" had differences inside connections in the frontal lobe of the brain, as well as the differences between this area and the rest of the brain.

Scientists at the University of California in LA are starting to believe that the autistic brain is actually wired differently (Autism brain secrets revealed by verification; BBC News health. November 3, 2010):
According to Dr Ashley Scott-Van Zeeland, who led the research project, "the front of the brain seems to speak mainly to themselves-it doesn't communicate both with other parts of the brain and long-distance connections does not have the back of the brain," "in children with the version of the gene is not linked to risk of autism, the paths were linked more strongly to the left side of the brain. Those with the variant "risk", the paths were different, linking the lobe strongly to both sides of the brain ".

WHAT IS THE AREA OF THE FRONTAL LOBE?

It's beginning to seem clear that there is a significant difference in frontal lobe activity for autistic person (or those carrying "variant of gene") if diagnosed as autistic or not. So, what is this area of the brain and what role it plays in our lives?

Many say that the frontal lobe is what makes us human. It is part of the brain that is more highly developed in humans than the rest of the animal life on our planet.

Here is a brief list of responsibilities, thought to be associated with this specific part of the brain
Focus attention on a single taskConcentrationIntention behaviorDecision makingProblem solvingAbstract purposeful–distraction reasoningElaboration of behaviorConsciousnessWorking memoryJudgmentLogicOrganizationSocializationSympathy and thoughtControl of empathyHigher cognitive functionsThought to play a role in our spatial orientation

Emotions are generated inside the brain, but the frontal lobes "Manage" emotions and help us to streamline and make conscious choices, intentional about our behavior. The research also indicates that there is increased activity in the frontal lobe during meditation (studies on Tibetan monks). Many believe that this part of the brain seems to be the headquarters of our essence and nature

SOME SYMPTOMS OF DAMAGE TO THE FRONTAL LOBE:

To further illustrate the connection between the autism spectrum and frontal lobe area, the following is a list of some of the symptoms of damage to that part of the brain:
Perseverance (obsessive or repetitive behaviour) less sympatheticUnable social empatheticLess social cuesInappropriate read judgments and responsesUnable to detect when the other is trying to cheat themLittle spontaneous deadpan face of aggressions spontaneityDifficulty behavioral flexibility in the interpretation of the comments of environmentImpaired associated with learning (using external signals to help guide behavior) lack of inhibition (misconduct)

This is not a comprehensive list of symptoms. In fact, deep damage to this area of the brain can lead to significant personality changes in the subject.

Despite everything, the link between the activity of the frontal lobe and the autistic brain is becoming quite obvious to the reader informed.

WHAT IS ALL THIS?

It would be irresponsible of the author to declare any interpretation of the data as fact. Currently only can speculate. The only obvious is that more research is needed.

It seems logical to assume that more connections in the region of the frontal lobe mean greater activity and therefore increased the capacity in these areas to which this part of the brain is responsible.

In fact, it is good to remember that many of the strengths of the autism spectrum profile seem to be areas of frontal lobe function. Focus and concentration, logical reasoning, problem solving, abstract reasoning, working memory-very high functioning Autism spectrum people possess these skills in various forms in a greater degree. Note that these functions tend to be built-in functions that require internal communication only.

On the other hand, the autistic aspects that most would call weaknesses or "dysfunctional" are these capacities for communication with and comments from the external environment are crucial. This is where the wiring between the frontal lobes and the rest of the brain may be affecting performance negatively as communication is breaking within the brain.

Recognize that the autistic brain can be connected differently the neurotypical brain could be the beginning of a significant improvement in our understanding of this diagnosis. It could also be the beginning of an understanding that people may have superior abilities ASD in some areas and, therefore, can offer new ideas and contributions to the life on our planet.

The five best educational materials for children with autism and special needs

We had more than ten years of experience in tutoring and teaching our daughter with an autism spectrum disorder. Below are some of the educational use that we thought were more successful in their development and learning. These methods can be used with any child with or without an autism spectrum disorder, pervasive developmental disorder or special needs.

Teaching aid 1-creating a therapy room
At the beginning, what got us going was the son RISE. Liz was the United States to the Institute and made a two-week courses on how to deal with a child with autism, methods for working with and mentoring a child with autism and how to configure a room of therapy for a mentoring a child with autism and/or special needs.

The course is, in General, not only for parents of children with autism, but also for children with learning difficulties, generalized development disorder (PDD) and children with special needs. The course focusses too much on dealing with an emotional level with the fact that your son has an intellectual disability, and ongoing support, if desired.

So on the arrival of Liz back home that we have assembled a therapy room. We have used a spare room and painted in vivid colors. We can configure with shelves and drawers to store, play equipment, a computer and printer, table height of the child a suitable and chairs to work on top of the table and a resistant coatings. The basic idea was to have a room that the child can identify with as an area of learning and fun only, somewhere they in time know that when they are there is time to learn.

2-get help teaching by means of a child with autism
One of the things very useful that Liz learned with son RISE was a method for working with autistic children, a way to get to them and that was to arrive at their level. Get down on the floor and rock with them, as they do spin objects, repeat the sounds they make, enter their world. This is how we have Isy accusing us, doing exactly that! She began to pay attention when we enter into his world and we slowly began to influence their behaviour and satisfy their thirst for learning.

Most children with or without autism spectrum disorders, Pervasive developmental disorders, learning difficulties or disabilities enjoy learning, they have a thirst for knowledge, is just a matter of finding how to reach them and make learning fun for them and for yourself.

Teaching aid 3-applied behavioral analysis and discrete trial teaching
The next step for us was getting in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and discrete trial teaching (DTT). Liz also sought out and trained therapists, including student Uni work intensely with Isy and its progress was amazing. Isy loved in his learning therapy room. Each session would run for 2 hours, and she would earn up to three sessions per day up to six days per week.

In a relatively short time, Isy began to learn to count, spell out her name, read books, ask things, say Yes and no, imaginative play, identify the genres, moods, numerous items and much more. In a nutshell, she began to communicate and be aware of your surroundings, we were over the Moon! This thing really works.

Teaching aid 4-Custom made and IT Computer based teaching Aids
After a while Liz was amassing a range of autism spectrum disorder related educational materials, which could also be used with children with special needs, resources such as-letters with pictures, shapes, puzzles, color cards, cards for sizes, illustrated books, cards, etc. I also started doing a little it or training aids as interactive Flash cards with sound and a TOILET training program customized computer-based interactive. This time, I was working in Antarctica and I would send Isy via internet interactive stories of their favorite characters (Snowy and Humphrey) in Antarctica, this really was a long way in teaching him to read, she would thrash the stories!

Teaching aid 5-things kids love making
Another teaching great help that I used to teach language Isy was your springboard. She used to love to jump on the trampoline and even more so when I joined it, we would play silly games that required her to tell or say short sentences. I would like to point to the sky and take it to mean short phrases like "touch the clouds in the sky" or "turn" and "my turn" purposely would lie on the springboard until she would ask "getting up father" and "lets skip the father". Use a favorite activity for teaching children is a very powerful teaching helps

The first few days on springboard where Isy was beginning to learn to speak and we jump laugh and sometimes just sit and look at the birds of heaven were without doubt some of the best and most memorable days of my life.

These are some of the autism spectrum disorder educational materials we've seen that really worked for us and our daughter Isy. There are other factors involved in its course, as well as supplements, biomedical, physical activities such as swimming and horseback riding, music and sound therapy and what we believe to be a safe home environment safe and fun for all of us.

Treatment of autism-regression, problems with bowel and Autism part 2 of 2

Treatment of autism-many children with autism also suffer from severe gastrointestinal inflammation. To help resolve this problem, specialized tests may be done to help determine the right course of action. You can do it, you'll continue to read this entire article.

What we discussed in part one of this two part series was some economic improvement and regression then that we tend to see when we treat some of the issues the intestines found in many children with autism. I have seen many children over the years and I wish I could do more tests, but when I have these children assessed by a gastroenterologist go intestinal scope, what is certain is that they have very inflamed courage and characteristics of autistic enterocolitis. My patients reported during years to Dr. Krigsman in Texas and it is a pediatric gastroenterologist. It is, basically, my go-to guy when it comes to this level of testing. It's been my experience that there are many doctors around who can evaluate children with autism to the level where they need to be assessed for gastrointestinal and truly understand all the complexities involved. And through reviews of Dr. Krigsman, I have seen that many of these children have very inflamed guts, some quite significant, but the kids have an amazing ability to compensate for this pain.

And not all children will manifest itself with this extreme pain or suffering. We can see a very cyclical pattern for improvements and then drops, he waxes and then decreases, the first improvement and then tightening, improving and then aggravation and he keeps repeating itself over and over and over again. This also is quite common in Crohn's disease who also have this tendency to wax and First. You may want to do some research about Crohn's disease in children, if you think this sounds like it may be what's happening with your child. Very commonly the classical description of Crohn's disease fits bowel patterns we see in many children with autism. So I wanted to discuss this issue more since I know how frustrating it can be to combat these problems of intestine repeatedly for many months or even years. I encourage parents who are seeing it on their children to be assessed by a pediatric gastroenterologist who understands all intricacies of autism to help determine what may be happening in the intestines of his son.

Learning with autism

For Bee isy Isy bee
Level: basic

Hi, my name is Isabella, Isy for short. I was born in mid-1997 and was diagnosed with autism in two years. My ...

Recently I was having a conversation with a friend about our children. We were talking about how we, as parents influence behaviors of our children (with or without ASD). Whether we like it or not we can play a huge role in the life of our children and we must strive to lead by example and win respect rather than by commanding and waiting. Certainly it is not just our influence that affects its behavior, but we can play an important role.

Anyway during the conversation I remember saying how having a child with autism has taught us (parents) both on the education of children and about life in General. There is no doubt that when we learned that Isy was on the autism spectrum disorders that our family unit became much more United and stronger. We teamed up and we were determined from the beginning that we were going to overcome many obstacles that a disability such as autism may submit and get better for it.

Below is a list of just some of the things that we as parents have learned with our autistic children:
Acceptance -accept his son for who they are. They are all beautiful in their own way. Just because they're different doesn't mean they are minors. Different is good!Tolerance -sometimes it is difficult to understand why they are getting upset or frustrated, but when you take the time to understand that you can see that everything makes sense. Sometimes you have to be extremely tolerant, but you teach something very valuable-tolerance!Humor -you have to have a good sense of humor to survive having a child with autism. If you do not have a soon get an otherwise you will just go insane. I always say laughter heals everything, and I strongly believe. With autistic children that you just can't get angry or sad, you just have to laugh and when you laugh with them everything just is much better.Happiness -happiness is a choice, wise words from someone who knows Bears Barry Neil Kaufman. You can choose to be happy or sad in any situation-it is your choice, you just have to make that decision and happy feels much better than sad. It also appears that autistic people are very sensitive to your vibes and will reflect and amplify on how you feel.Unconditional love -"all you need is love"! So very true. When you love someone for who they are and nothing else-without-trial without conditions-which is the true love and pure. You can't get better than that. And for the addressee-ten fold. Disability of children, adults, or not, we all do better when we truly are loved unconditionally.

These are just some of the things we learned from our autistic daughter, and to tell the truth we wouldn't have it different, we just love her for who she is-without conditions.

Hi, my name is Isabella, Isy for short. I was born in mid-1997 and was diagnosed with autism in two years.

My parents started originally Autism Isabel pages and pages of web Isybee Autism to help other parents in similar circumstances and give recognition to other people and organisations that have helped them help me.

Everything you need to know about autism

What is it?

Autism refers to a collection of Pervasive developmental Disorders (PDD). Typically, this occurs in the first three years of life that affect interaction and communication capabilities of a person. He is often referred to as a spectrum disorder because it expresses different and in different degrees of different individuals.

According to a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which was issued in 2009, this disorder became more prevalent. At the time when the report was released, 1 in every 110 children was autistic. It is estimated that 1.5 million people in the United States suffers from autism and increases at an average rate of 10-17 percent annually. The reason for this increase is yet to be established. However, there was speculation that improved diagnosis and environmental influences are the reasons for the increase.

The Autism Society estimated that the cost of caring for an autistic child life varies from $ 3.5 million to $ 5 million. In the United States, about $ 90 billion is spent annually in costs for autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This figure covers research, insurance costs, exemptions of medical aid, transportation, housing and employment among other costs. Although it is treatable, early identification and Diagnostics play a significant role in your treatment. Unfortunately, most parents mistakenly expect their children to overcome developmental disorders.

Symptoms of autism
ASD has certain characteristic behaviors that are not very obvious in childhood (18-24 months) but become apparent in early childhood (24 months to 6 years). When you take your baby for well-baby clinic, the doctor must perform a screening development and ask questions about your child's progress. According to the National Institute of child health and human development (NICHD), there are five behaviors which warrant further investigation:

No babble or coo for 12 months
No gesture (point, wave, grasp) for 12 months
say single words by 16 months
say two words phrases on your own for 24 months
Have any loss of any language or social skills at any age.

However, even if your child displays these five signs, that doesn't mean that they are autistic. This is because ASDs has different symptoms that should be further assessed by a multidisciplinary team. The team should include a neurologist, developmental pediatrician, psychologist, consultant, speech therapist and any other professional who has knowledge of the field of learning.

Causes of autism
Researchers are yet to establish their cause; most cases of ASD say be idiopathic. In fact, there are many possible causes Autism as there are symptoms of autism. In 1943, Dr. Leo Kanner, the first psychiatrist to describe the disorder has stated that it was caused by cold, unloving mothers. As expected, researchers have proved that it is not the result of poor parenting.

Scientific evidence shows that this disease is caused by a combination of factors, including genetic and environmental factors. The exposure time before, during or after birth plays a role in the development and presentation of the disorder. Researchers still are investigating several theories, including one that heredity, genetics and autism links. Most studies suggest that there is a genetic basis for autism spectrum disorders. But it seems that some children are born susceptible to those diseases, researchers were not able to identify the triggers that cause the disorder develop.

Genetic vulnerability
There are certain medical conditions that make a person more susceptible to disorders of autism. These conditions include tuberous sclerosis, fragile x syndrome, congenital rubella syndrome and not treated PKU (phenylketonuria). Also found a link between development disorders and the ingestion of harmful substances during pregnancy.

Environmental factors
In addition, there are other factors that contribute greatly to the increase in autism prevalence. These factors include environmental toxins such as heavy metals which have become more common in the environment than they were in the past. People who suffer from autism spectrum disorders do not have the ability to detoxify environmental toxins.

The symptoms of autism and healing in children

Information related to autism in children reveals that all sons of one hundred and fifty have this disease. Autism is a neurological disorder that affects many vital skills, including attention, thoughts, interaction with others, and perception. Statistics show that children are at a much higher risk to have Autism than adults. Early detection of symptoms of autism in children is very important. Any delay could mean the child to weaken the future. A wide range of disabilities are covered by the term autism. These deficiencies could vary from mild to severe. Autism causes frustration of the patient, as well as spouses. There are no specific symptoms that can be connected directly to this condition and perfect clinical diagnosis or clinical tests that can identify the disease are lacking too. Doctors and physicians, therefore, depend on the response of the children affected to certain stimuli or random testing to lookout for signs of autism. A single Curing Autism is still fleeing from modern science and has yet to be invented.

The symptoms of autism in children must be detected as soon as possible to better manage the disease and prevent future complications. Autistic children have difficulty in reaching an agreement with the various situations in life every day and as such are exposed to dangers in most cases. To resolve this problem, they need special attention, treatment and care with love and have to be given confidence enough to build a sense of security. Researchers and scientists, although making good progress in several aspects of the disease, treatments are still finding a cure from autism. There are many reasons behind this subterfuge of healing. On the one hand, there is no identifiable cause or causes for this disease. Secondly, not all individuals exhibit the same symptoms for this disease. Thirdly, this disease cannot be diagnosed in the true sense of the word. All these factors combine to make a one-time cura as vaccination difficult.

There are many medicines available to treat autism available on the market. Natural treatment of autism includes social treatment. Social treatment promotes the interaction of autistic children with other children in a playgroup and coexist with them. This helps the gradual erosion of the symptoms of autism and results in the standardisation of the child. Behavioral modification approach uses a technique to reward the child to display good behaviour and punishment in case of bad behavior. Natural environments are known to stimulate all the senses. Nature reduces stress and also stimulates the senses through images, sounds and aromas. Emotional health, physical and mental health of children affected by autism Gets reinforced largely through regular time outdoors. This increases your immune system that helps relieve symptoms of autism.

Nature therapy is a modern therapy designed to complement other therapies for autism. Natural activities promote healing properties. Natural environments promote all senses. A new research promotes the soothing nature renders to autistic patients. Autistic children with disabilities benefit physically, emotionally and psychologically appropriate spending time in the wild.

What is autism? An introduction to the principles of autism

Autism is a brain disorder that affects the three major areas of human development: speech, communication and social interaction. It is a spectrum disorder, meaning that two people with autism may have very different symptoms or characteristics.

Children have Autism may have the following characteristics in their behaviors and can vary greatly in degrees of severity.

-Rotate objects or self
-Play sustained unusual or repetitive
-Little, avoid or contact no eye
It prefers to be alone
-Delay in language development
-Emphasis on sameness
-Unequal physical abilities
-Laugh, cry or show suffering for reasons unknown
-About-Active or under-active
-Difficult to express needs, use gestures instead of talking
-Repeat words or phrases without meaning shape
-Inadequate Attachment to objects
-Reject or avoid the personal touch, such as holding or hugs
-Teaching methods that do not respond to normal
-Hypersensitivity or under-sensitivity to pain
-Failure to develop peer relationships

There is no medical test for autism. A diagnosis of autism is made by a team of professionals through observation and analysis of the child. Typically, this can be diagnosed when a child is 2-3 years of age.

To date, no single cause or cure was identified while there is extensive research on the subject.

However, autism is definitely not a result of poor parents or children be disobedient. Some research seems to suggest that it is caused by genetic and environmental factors such as vaccines or environmental toxins.

Adaptability and intelligence tests shows that most children with autism have some level of mental retardation. However, some people with autism have average and above average intelligence. Some even have higher Iq.

In conventional medicine, autism is considered a neurological disease that has no cure. However, there have been a number of theories, research and evidence that early intervention is extremely important for the development of the child and many behaviors can be changed in a positive way.

Today, with extensive research on this subject, different educational strategies and approaches were developed and proven to deliver positive results. Some children or adults, for people without training, may appear just does not have Autism at all. Studies show that highly structured, specialized education program under measured for the individual needs of the child has positive results. However, there is no single teaching method for autism.

Other treatment may help include medicine, diet, vitamins, occupational therapy and sensory. It is reported that some parents think their children's symptoms and behaviors have improved by following biomedical approaches such as gluten-free diet and casein and with the addition of nutritional supplements.
