Autism Treatment-Porphyrin heavy metals, testing and treating autism

In this video, let's talk about something called a Porphyrin. Research that was made to analyze what is called porphyrins was made a number of years ago. These porphyrins are chemical reactions inside our cells and produce something known as heme. Heme is utilized by our red blood cells to form hemoglobin which then transports oxygen. Heme also helps in detoxification as part of our liver. Heme is also influential in removing something called amyloids beta brain. Amyloids Beta can accumulate in the brain where there was exposure to mercury, especially in certain neurological disorders. As you can see, heme is a substance vital for our body and Porphyrin is a critical metabolic process in place of our cells.

It was determined through new research of porphyrin metabolism can suffer through exposure to heavy metal. We know serious genetic disorders can lead to problems of Porphyrin and many of them can even be life-threatening. Interference of porphyrin metabolism can also come from exposure to chemicals, too. But the connection to heavy metals is strong. We know that heavy metals such as lead, aluminum, mercury and arsenic can all interfere with the metabolism of Porphyrin. This is why the Porphyrin analysis can be valuable and what I use most are of the Great Plains laboratory, other labs offer this as well. And then we check to see if one or more of these markers Porphyrin is generated. If they are generated, there is good evidence that we have toxicity at the cellular level of exposure to heavy metal. An example is the marker of copoporphyrin or CP, if it is not know how much metal high is in the body. But what they indicate is that there is some toxicity in cells due to heavy metal.

As I mentioned in a video, as some of heavy metal test up front that I do, I usually make a hair analysis, as well as an analysis of Porphyrin. So what this does is give me the idea that the hair analysis shows, if there are high scorers for very specific metals. I can see if there is a problem with transport mineral or if there are multiple patterns on the essential elements that suggest the toxicity of heavy metals. And then I can use the data analysis of Porphyrin correlate well. If the analysis of Porphyrin also comes back high, then we have a strong indicator of toxicity of heavy metals.

Then you have come to take a decision on whether to treat heavy metal or not. Even if the tests come back normal, that really does not indicate that the child had heavy metal exposure. At that time, a discussion with your doctor about the opportunity to implement a programme of detoxification therapy heavy metal for his son would be necessary as the actual decision to do so is a clinic. And really we want to determine whether it makes sense to start a clinical program of detoxification of heavy metal. And often it does, and when we can implement a program of therapy we see positive changes over time. The improvements can be in the form of reduced sensory issues, better attention, focus, fewer infections, immune functioning better, etc. I look at the analysis of hair and the Porphyrin test as good screening tools. And then let's discuss another way to assess the exposure of heavy metal through blood tests.
