Autism is prevalent in the news since that one in every 150 children is currently being diagnosed with some form of autism. Autism is found in boys 4 times more often than can be found in girls. Understanding and recognizing the major important aspects of autism will help parents to child in appropriate treatment and educational programs early enough to affect the improvement of symptoms so that the child can best interact in social situations. Autistic children often display an exceptional skill in another area, such as music and rote memory. They display ability of genius in some area, which observation of social interaction beyond the scope of skills.
Another important reason to understand the basic aspect of autism is that there could be an underlying psychiatric or neurological problem. Some autistic children suffer convulsions. If not properly diagnosed, the autistic child could receive autism care, treatment and medication is wrong. Early intervention with physicians and neurologists can identify a diagnosis that will ensure your child receives the proper medication and education support.
Early treatment of autism may include medicines to treat hyperactivity or mood changes, along with medications that can control seizures in autistic children. There are also nutritional and vitamin therapies that have shown improvement in autistic children.
